First, let’s start off with color palette and design. For a capsule wardrobe, you want to choose colors that are easy to fall in. For example, if you are mostly a brown and red wardrobe, than you might want to choose the following colors: dark chocolate, mocha, vanilla, and honey. If you want a slightly different look, then you could go with these colors combined with black: deep chocolate, black and white, burnt orange, vanilla, light brown, and beige. These are just a few color palettes to use and you can easily mix and match with other accessories to come up with the exact color palette that suits you best!

Last, but not least, it’s time for the most important part of any capsule wardrobe full of clothes: the fabric. You need to choose a basic cotton weave fabric like a cotton scarf, a light chiffon, or even a microfiber to make sure that your clothes stay in great shape. Also, it’s important that the material allows for easy movement and air flow so that you don’t have to worry about them getting soggy. Last but not least, make sure that your items can stand up to being washed in the machine as well. There’s nothing worse than finding a stain on your favorite dress!
